Google has announced a recent security incident involving the unauthorized access of customer information from one of its databases. The compromised database, used to store contact details and notes for small and medium-sized businesses, was breached by a hacking group known as ShinyHunters, also referred to as UNC6040. Fortunately, the stolen data appears to be limited to publicly available business information, including company names and contact details.
